In 2015, a group of supporters in the fields of sports and tourism founded the association «Home of Triathlon St. Moritz Engadin». Its primary goal is to have more triathletes, and other multi-sport athletes, come and train in the Upper Engadin. To attract these athletes, training options in the three disciplines as well as stays in hotels or apartments have been put together; both are tailored to the needs of triathletes. These are available to both local and outside individual athletes and teams. The program is open to junior athletes too.

The association «Home of Triathlon», in close collaboration with «St. Moritz Sport», the town's sports operations, also host the St. Moritz Triathlon, the St. Moritz Duathlon and the Kids Cup by Nicola Sprig. The St. Moritz Triathlon is a short distance race (500m swimming in Lake St. Moritz, 20km biking in the Upper Engadin, 5km running in the Stazerwald forest).

Christian Gartmann is a founding member of the association. 2015-2020 he was in charge of the association's media relations and runs the media activities for every event.
