Christian Gartmann advises the Klinik Gut on communications matters, PR, and crisis communication, and he also handles their public affairs and public relations matters relating to all new construction project.

The Klinik Gut Group is the leading operator of clinics for orthopaedics and trauma surgery in the canton of Grisons. In addition to the world-renowned clinic in St. Moritz, the group opened a new clinic in Fläsch (GR) in January of 2017. Moreover, the group also runs doctor's offices/surgeries in Chur, Bad Ragaz, Buchs (SG), Zurich, and Ascona. It also successfully operates cooperations with the public hospitals in Thusis, Savognin, Samedan, and Poschiavo.

Magazine of Skiservice Corvatsch

since 2015

The «Skiservice Magazine» is one of the most popular corporate publishing products in the canton. It is dispatched to the clients of the canton's largest sports goods supplier, displayed in all of its shops, and presented in several hundred hotel rooms, totalling a circulation of 15,000 copies per issue.

Christian Gartmann has been responsible for the entire editorial content, including all texts, since the 2015/2016 publication.

Engadin Skimarathon

Christian Gartmann is the advisor to the event organiser on media issues, year-round media work and communications. During the event week, he sees to the needs of the national and international media professionals, and he leads the press conferences. 

The Engadin Skimarathon counts over 15,000 participants every year, making it the largest sports event in Switzerland.

Engadin Airport, Samedan-St. Moritz

2016 - 2018

The regional airport in Samedan–St. Moritz (Engadin Airport) is Europe's highest-altitude airport; it is one of the Upper Engadin's key USPs for the high-end market segment.

Christian Gartmann provides support to the airport management in their communications with the Engadin residents as well as everyone else interested in aviation, and in explaining aviation topics in layman's terms. He also is the dedicated spokesperson for crisis communication.

The prospect of an Olympic candidacy gripped the canton of Grisons and large parts of Switzerland in 2012 and 2013. White Games in St. Moritz, Davos, and Lenzerheide were meant to show off the winter paradise that is the canton of Grisons. The all-media information campaign ahead of the public vote became the most comprehensive platform for dialogue that Switzerland ever witnessed in a cantonal referendum. In March of 2013, however, the Grisons electorate opted to give up the bid.

Christian Gartmann was mandated to head communications & marketing for the candidacy, and he acted as their spokesperson.

Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz

2014–2017

Ever since its inception in 1985, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz has held centre stage on the world's calendar of snow polo tournaments, socially as much as regarding the level of play. The three match days see a crowd of 15,000 to watch the games on the frozen Lake St. Moritz. Over 200 accredited media professionals from all four corners of the world come to St. Moritz to report on the tournament. In 2017, their reports accumulated a gross reach of 23 milion people.

gartmann.biz was in charge of all marketing and editorial communication: running the tournament's press office throughout the year, proactive media work, media operations and media relations during the event.   

Bobsleigh and skeleton World Championships 2020 and 2021

since 2016

St. Moritz was bidding to host the bobsleigh and skeleton World Championships 2020 and 2021. Christian Gartmann created and produced the applications presentations by St. Moritz to the international bobsleigh and skeleton federation IBSF. As a member of the official St. Moritz delegation, he presented the bid at the annual congresses of 2016 and 2017 in London and Park City respectively.

By focussing strictly on promising business to secure the company's profitability, the mountain railway enterprise Engadin St. Moritz Mountains ensures the continuous renewal of its comprehensive infrastructure. The erstwhile mountain railway company morphs into a leading provider of mountain experiences.

Christian Gartmann advises the board of directors and the executive board on communications and public affairs in relation to the introduction of a new company strategy.

150 years of winter tourism

2014

To celebrate the anniversary winter season, the town of St. Moritz and the Engadin St. Moritz tourism organisation hosted a public event in the centre of the village that attracted over 3,200 spectators.

Christian Gartmann collaborated on the development and implementation of the 90-minute show, and he hosted the show as single moderator.

The live production involved over 100 participants; 80 guests appeared in the show – on the stage, on a ski slope built just for the show, or in the air. St. Moritz's 150 years as a winter sports destination, as well as 50 years of Willy Bogner's films and fashion creations, were portrayed in numerous live interviews with witnesses of the times and film sequences.

Market launch of a new helicopter model

2012

Strategy and concept of the launch campaign of a new turbine helicopter in Switzerland, comprising events, PR, and social media. Online content strategy, content strategy for social media and corporate communications, editorial support for the company in the context of operations, maintenance and sale of helicopters, as well as for the production of aerial imagery in Switzerland and Germany. Due to significant delays in the model's certification process, the launch campaign never took place.
