
“Hello dear Unterländer” is a private initiative by Christian Gartmann and Isabel Wenger for tourism into grisons. On Facebook, YouTube and traditional media, films that are never entirely serious praise Grisons as travel destination on. The now 50 films have been viewed more than 2 million times so far. They spread in the social networks purely viral and reached over 7 million advertising contacts.
Traditional media also became aware of the initiative: After local and regional media, the website reported on the campaign for 20 minutes. The article was viewed 220,000 times and the film described in it was viewed over 140,000 times.
“Hello dear Unterländer, this is my small advertising contribution for tourism in Grisons,” says Christian Gartmann. “Anyone else could do that too. We should all work to make tourism in our country better again.”
