Representative from sports and tourism founded the association “Home of Triathlon St. Moritz Engadin” in 2015. The first goal is to get more triathletes and to bring other multi-sport athletes to the Upper Engadine for training. To achieve this, individual athletes and teams are offered a range of courses in the three sports and stays in hotels and apartments. All offers are specific to the The needs of triathletes tailored and are also open to locals and young athletes.
The Home of Triathlon association, together with St. Moritz Sport, also organizes the St. Moritz Triathlon, a sprint distance race (500m swimming in Lake St. Moritz, 20km bike in the Upper Engadin, 5km run in the Stazerwald), the St. Moritz Duathlon and the Kids Cup by Nicola Spirig.
Christian Gartmann is Founding member of the association and was responsible for its media relations and media relations at the mentioned competitions from 2015 to 2020.
