2,500 came to the new Gut Fläsch Clinic

The population of Grisons, the St. Gallen Oberland and the Principality of Liechtenstein took possession of their new orthopedic clinic on Saturday. 2,500 people attended the open house at Klinik Gut Fläsch. They had specialist doctors and nursing professionals explain the clinic in detail on a guided tour.

In the first two hours of the day, clinic tours were exclusively reserved for bottlers. 350 people accepted this invitation, which is around half of all residents of the wine village. From noon on, the influx of visitors increased sharply, resulting in some waiting times. However, a freshly made pinot soup by star chef Roland Schmid ensured that the atmosphere in the neighboring, fully staffed gym was always very good. When the last of 90 guided tours began at 5:30pm, the visitor counter had exceeded 2,500.

The new Klinik Gut Fläsch is the most modern orthopedic clinic in Graubünden. It offers two highly sterile operating rooms, a day hospital and therapy rooms, as well as rooms for up to 27 patients. The clinic is aimed at the population of Grisons, the St. Gallen Oberland, the Principality of Liechtenstein as well as Glarus, the Linth Valley and Upper Lake Zurich. The clinic was built in just 18 months and starts operating at the beginning of January. More than half of the patients at Klinik Gut have general insurance.
