A new grand hotel and hospital building are to be built on the “Serletta Süd” site in St. Moritz. The owner Chris Silber St. Moritz AG has submitted a building application. The project complies with the structure plan for the area approved by the Federal Court.

Six and a half years after the overwhelming popular yes to the “Serletta Süd” project and after a marathon of planning complaints with lawsuits before the federal court, owner Chris Silber St. Moritz AG has submitted the building application for her construction project. The submission became possible after the Federal Supreme Court dismissed all planning complaints in June 2021 and the usage plan adopted by voters in 2015 became definitively valid. The project is by renowned architects Bearth & Deplazes and comprises a hotel and a hospital building.
It will make a significant contribution to the development of the Engadin — St. Moritz tourist region. The upscale hotel offers 128 rooms and 7 suites, several restaurants, conference rooms, wellness and treatment rooms. Staff accommodation and an underground car park are also located in the hotel building. In the Clinic Building Next to It, Rooms for Medical Services and an Underground Car Park are being built. Swisscom AG's new telecommunications center is also being built in a base building between the two buildings.
Christian Gartmann has been the communications officer for the Serletta Süd project since 2013.
