Seven locals and guests, including Italian fashion entrepreneur Ermenegildo Zegna, are the focus of the new ski service magazine. The 2020 edition once again features portraits, strong images from the Engadin and the latest ski, sports and leisure fashion of the beginning of winter. The Skiservice Magazine is now available again for free.

Long-term thinking and clear rules of the game are the secret of successful companies worldwide, says Ermenegildo Zegna in the new Ski Service Magazine. The globally active Italian fashion entrepreneur is a regular guest of the Engadin and gave the magazine a detailed discussion. In doing so, he talks about the principles of his family's business.
“Successful family businesses are characterized by a long-term mindset: We always think of the next generation as well.” According to Zegna, the rules of the game and values are also decisive. “These are ethical values, such as respect for one another and for nature, the role model of family and company management and, of course, the principle that the rules in the company apply to everyone; especially to the family.”
Ermenegildo Zegna is just one of the interesting people in the recently published Skiservice Magazine 2020: giant slalom ace Marco Odermatt talks about his life as a professional skier, Olympic medalist and doctor Andi Grünenfelder about his love for cross-country skiing, mountain guides Leo Luminatti and Romano Salis about their work in nature, Silvaplana young cross-country skier Ilaria Gruber about school and training and fashion entrepreneur Marc Hänsli about his trendy brand Capranea.
“Our portraits always show personalities who have helped shape Engadin and its history; as regular guests, entrepreneurs, athletes or artists,” says editor Conradin Conrad. “We are proud that they talk to us about their work, their values and their relationship with the Engadin.”
Previous issues have already featured Milanese fashion entrepreneur Franco Loro Piana, Olympic champion and world champion such as Bode Miller or Patrick Küng, and local personalities such as Sils photographer Daniel Meuli or up-and-coming freestyler Nalu Nussbaum from Champfèr.
The makers of the magazine are locals: as always, the pictures, texts and the design of the ski service magazine were made by Engadin people. The new edition is 128 pages long and is published in an edition of 15,000 copies. It is available free of charge in many hundreds of hotel rooms, 13 ski service branches and numerous restaurants and shops and can also be read as a digital version.
