MOBILE COMMUNICATION: Does the well-groomed language go before the dogs?

The discussion as to whether the digitization of everyday life is more of a curse or a blessing has many facets. One of them is language development in adolescents. On the one hand, there is criticism, SMS and chats called for blatantly simplistic language and left no room for multi-faceted wording. On the other hand, it is praised that the use of text systems promotes writing and reading itself.
