Triathletes, mountain bikers and swingers in parallel ski slalom

The world's first winter resort reopened its 2010/2011 season with a happening: Lots of snow and low temperatures created the winter atmosphere - the competition between teams of locals, guests and celebrities made the last weekend in November a happening. Gartmann.biz designed and implemented a series of media promotions as well as the audience animation on the two competition evenings, helping to make the third St. Moritz City Race a great success.

For the third edition of St. Moritz City Race With lots of natural snow, the St. Moritz pedestrian zone was converted back into a slope, on which a team parallel slalom was held on two evenings. On Friday evening, teams from Engadin companies and groups of guests competed against each other in the already traditional company derby. On Saturday, the categories “Families & Youth”, “Ski Schools & Ski Clubs” and “Celebrities” were on the starting list. For the first time, a freestyle competition was also held.

While there were exciting sporting duels between the company teams and the ski schools or ski clubs, the celebrities sometimes took things a bit more comfortably. Former sports stars such as wrestling legend Nöldi Forrer, Olympic bobsleigh champion Reto Götschi, Olympic triathlon champion Brigitte McMahon and mountain bike world champion Ralph Näf enjoyed the great atmosphere not only at the race, but also in the bars and clubs around St. Moritz's pedestrian zone afterwards.

gartmann.biz was once again commissioned to provide information and animation for the audience on the two race evenings. Promotions in print and broadcast media have also recently been added. Competition promotions were held with media partners from Switzerland and Germany, which provided the event with extensive promotional space and editorial coverage.
