The ophthalmologist and eye surgeon Dr. med. Markus Halberstadt is now operating at the Gut Fläsch Clinic (GR). Eye patients from Nordbünden to Lake Constance, Glarus and Lake Zurich benefit from better care directly in their region.

The most common eye surgery performed at Klinik Gut Fläsch includes cataracts (cataracts) and glaucoma. For this purpose, the new clinic has state-of-the-art operating rooms as well as techniques using small incisions and laser applications. The majority of procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis. Patients remain in hospital for larger, more complex operations.
Markus Halberstadt, MD
Dr. med. Markus Halberstadt (48) studied medicine in Hanover and specialized in ophthalmology and eye surgery at the University Eye Clinics in Kiel and Bern (Inselspital) and at the Bern Eye Clinic at the Lindenhof Hospital. From 2007 to 2017, he worked as a senior physician at the Bern Eye Clinic at the Lindenhof Hospital and as an operative attending physician at the Lindenhof Hospital in Bern. Consultations for advice and aftercare after procedures take place in his practice in Sargans (SG).
The Gut Fläsch Clinic
In Fläsch (GR), Klinik Gut operates the most modern orthopedic clinic in Graubünden with two operating rooms, a day clinic for outpatient procedures and rooms for 27 patients. The clinic's services are aimed at the population from the cantons of Grisons, St. Gallen and Glarus, the Principality of Liechtenstein and guests from outside the region. In addition to Klinik Gut's own doctors, Klinik Gut Fläsch also has a number of specialized affiliated doctors from various disciplines.
