The international conference “Health & Tourism” is an initiative by Christian Gartmann AG to promote health tourism in the Alpine region. It has set itself the goal of attracting top performers from healthcare and the tourism to provide information about health tourism and to motivate people to get involved.
The 5th “Health & Tourism” conference took place on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, in Pontresina.
“Health & Tourism” was aimed at service providers from tourism and medicine, tourism professionals, decision makers in politics and associations, and at students tourist disciplines. More than 150 experts from four German-speaking Alpine countries and nine cantons each took part in the conference.
The conference was supported by sponsors from the Graubünden economy and tourism and received broad media coverage.

In 2020, the conference had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. It is still unclear whether it will be resumed.
