Planning application submitted for Serletta Clinic

Chris Silber St. Moritz AG has submitted the planning application for the Serletta Clinic. It is to become the new head office of Klinik Gut. The building is part of the “Serletta Süd” project with clinic and health hotel, which was clearly accepted by St. Moritz voters in 2015.

Four and a half years after the overwhelming popular yes to the “Serletta Süd” project, owner Chris Silber St. Moritz AG has submitted the building application for the hospital building. As planned in the indicative project, the clinic will have a ground floor, two upper floors and four basements. The neighboring health hotel is then to be built after the clinic is completed.

The clinic and health hotel will enable St. Moritz to enter modern health tourism. The investment volume for the clinic amounts to 32 million francs.

The clinic project by architects Bearth & Deplazes provides 24 patient rooms and rooms for administration on the top two floors. A reception, consulting room and a public restaurant with a terrace will be built on the ground floor. On the two floors below, two operating rooms, a day clinic for patients with outpatient procedures, an emergency room and rooms for therapies are planned. An underground parking garage and technical facilities are located on the two lowest floors.

The “Serletta Süd” project is still being fought in court by two hotels and two residents. Having been subservient across the board in all instances so far, they have now filed a lawsuit before the Federal Court for alleged procedural deficiencies. The enormous time delay has forced Klinik Gut to examine three alternative locations in more detail. Regardless of this, Chris Silber St. Moritz AG will definitely press ahead with the implementation of the “Serletta Süd” project.
