The Savognin JUFA Hotel will have a new operator and a new name from the 2025/2026 winter season. AVES Management AG, based in Davos, will operate it under the new name “AVES Hotel Savognin”. Sandro Zollinger, who is well connected in Savognin, remains the host and director of AVES Hotel Savognin. AVES Management AG has already been operating the “Hotel AVES Homebase Arosa” since 2022. With the takeover of the Savognin site, it is strengthening its presence in Grisons and Switzerland, which marks another milestone in its growth strategy. The hotel is owned by the ITW group of companies from Balzers (FL).

It is very popular in the Val Surses holiday region and includes 72 rooms and junior suites, a restaurant with 120 seats and a sun terrace, various seminar rooms, an indoor children's playground, a sauna area with Finnish sauna, Laconium, infrared cabin and relaxation area, and a fitness room. Since its opening in summer 2021, the hotel has been run by the JUFA Hotel Group.

Based on experience gained in recent years of operation, the ITW Group of Companies as owner and the JUFA Hotel Group have mutually agreed to terminate the existing rental agreement at the end of the 2025 summer season.

Stephan Kurmann, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVES Management AG, is delighted with the portfolio expansion: “The takeover of the operational operations of the former JUFA Hotel Savognin is an excellent addition to our previous hotel offer in Grisons and offers us the opportunity to further expand our brand presence in one of the most renowned Alpine regions.”

“We are very pleased that we have found a strong and renowned partner in AVES Management AG, who will continue our hotel without interrupting operations. Since the opening of our hotel, it has not only been possible to build up a good local team. The hotel has now also become an important part of the region's tourist offer. Together with the AVES Group, we want to continuously expand the range of hotel and restaurant services over the next few years,” says Dr. Martin Meyer, CEO of the ITW Group, about the new partnership in Savognin.
