Business economist and auditor Dr. Hanspeter Frank becomes the new CEO of Klinik Gut AG. Frank has worked on the finances, management and boards of directors of Swiss clinics since 2001. He was previously an auditor and taught at universities of applied sciences and the University of Fribourg. He will take over operational management of Klinik Gut as of December 1, 2018.

With Dr. Hanspeter Frank, a proven financial and health expert with many years of management experience takes over the operational management of Klinik Gut AG. From 2013 to early 2018, he was a member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Linde Private Hospital in Biel, then regional manager of the Swiss Medical Network in northwestern Switzerland. Before joining the healthcare sector in 2001, Dr. Frank had a doctorate in business administration and worked as a lecturer and auditor.
“We are pleased that we were able to recruit Dr. Frank, a well-founded expert in Swiss healthcare and an experienced company manager, as CEO,” explains Dr. med. Adrian Urfer, delegate of the Board of Directors of Klinik Gut AG. “As a private clinic with a public service mandate, our business is heavily regulated on the one hand, and on the other hand, we must survive on the free market by focusing entirely on the needs of our patients. Dr. Frank's many years of experience will help us with this.”
“Swiss healthcare providers are facing major challenges,” says Dr. Hanspeter Frank. “Increasing cost pressure and growing patient demands are not easy to reconcile. Taking over the management of Klinik Gut is particularly appealing to me because it belongs to a group of doctors who are in daily contact with patients and are particularly close to their needs.”
