Marketing tourism destinations through events is as popular as it is controversial. In St. Moritz, the municipal council recently refused to promise multi-year financing for the St. Moritz City Race. The discussion showed how different views are about events and their goals. The 10th St. Moritz Village Talk takes up this topic.

For the 10th edition, the St. Moritz Village Talks are getting an important new partner: The St. Moritz spa and tourist association is now acting as a co-organizer.
“The fact that, in addition to the village association, the St. Moritz spa and tourist association is now also a co-organizer of the village discussion is a big compliment to our work so far,” says Christian Gartmann, initiator and director of the St. Moritz Village Talks.
“The village talks will continue to present relevant topics in an attractive discussion format in the future. They have become an integral part of village life and a regular meeting place for St. Moritz residents, Engadines and guests.”
