POLITICS: In the fight against (cyber) terrorism, the USA is not afraid to take drastic measures.
The threat posed to global economic systems by hackers, cybercriminals and cyber terrorists is omnipresent. However, in an effort to protect the USA from virtual terror, American legislators have now probably gone a step too far: The USA should be able to be separated from the Internet in the event of cyber attacks.
But when freedom of information and speech is affected, there is resistance even in the USA to the fight against terrorism.
