The orthopedist and foot surgeon Dr. med. Salvatore Tomagra is moving to Klinik Gut. He will take over the management of foot surgery on May 1 and will work in the clinics in Fläsch and St. Moritz. Tomagra has many years of experience in treating accidental injuries and foot and ankle surgery
Salvatore Tomagra (42) was born in Italy, grew up in Germany and studied medicine in Cologne. He has lived in Switzerland since 2003 and worked as a doctor in hospitals in Fribourg, Bern, Sion and Biel. He is a specialist in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system and specializes in foot surgery. Since 2017, he has been a senior physician at the Biel Hospital Center and leads the local foot and ankle surgery team.
“The foot is a complex system of numerous bones, tendons, muscles and joints. Treating foot problems requires a great deal of expertise and experience. Only careful clarification and examination of all available treatment methods, including possible operations, promise sustainable treatment success.
