Pflegezentrum Oberengadin: Pros and Cons

With an information and discussion evening, the Upper Engadin district is launching the referendum on the construction of a new care center at Samedan Hospital on Thursday, January 9, 2014: Initiators and experts present the project, then supporters and opponents will discuss and answer questions from the audience. The evening at the Rondo Congress Center in Pontresina starts at 7:30pm.

Three events for the district vote on February 9

The Promulins nursing home is getting old and is to be replaced by a new building at the Oberengadin Hospital. On February 9, the sovereign of the Upper Engadin district municipalities will decide on a loan of 64.5 million francs. The Upper Engadin district is holding two evening of information and one discussion.

What are the needs of residents? What does a modern nursing home look like? What is structurally planned? How big does a future care center for the Upper Engadine have to be and how much does the new building cost? Initiators, experts, advocates, opponents and the population will meet at Rondo in Pontresina on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the invitation of the Upper Engadin district.
