update Fitness AG takes over the fitness business of Klinik Gut AG. The training center at the Ovaverva sports center in St. Moritz and the Crossfit offer on Via Serlas will continue. Subscriptions that have already been purchased remain valid and the Gut Training staff will be taken over. The takeover will take place on January 1, 2019.

The fitness center Good training in St. Moritz changes hands: The Klinik Gut AG withdraws from the fitness business and hands over Gut Training and its customer base to Fitness update AG.
There will be no job cuts; the Gut Training employees will be taken over by update Fitness. Customers from the two providers are now benefiting from an expanded range of services, as they can train at over 40 locations from January 1.
Gut Training was founded by Klinik Gut in 1996 as a health initiative for medical prevention and rehabilitation. Market consolidation was necessary to secure a high-quality offer for locals and guests in the Upper Engadine. That is why Gut Training took over the customer base of Ski racing gym and was now also looking for a conversation with update Fitness. It turned out that a takeover of Gut Training by update Fitness AG represents the best solution for everyone involved and the future of fitness offerings in Upper Engadin.
“A professional training program is equally important for locals and guests in the Engadin. Whether in medical prevention and preparation for sporting performance or in rehabilitation following treatments and interventions on the musculoskeletal system,” explains Dr. med. Adrian Urfer, delegate of the Board of Directors of Klinik Gut AG.
“When looking for a partner for our training business, continuing a high-quality offering and taking on our experienced employees was therefore always a top priority.”
“The takeover of Gut Training is an important step for our company and our customers. From January 1, all subscriptions will be valid at both locations and our customers will benefit from a significantly expanded range of services,” says managing director Michael Ammann from update Fitness AG. “We offer Gut Training employees the opportunity to continue working for us. I am delighted to welcome them to the update team.”
