Tourism in Upper Engadin is gearing up for a Covid-19 winter. A task force of accommodation providers, sports providers, mountain railways, public transport, healthcare and the destination organization Engadin St. Moritz is helping local businesses prepare for possible pandemic developments. At the invitation of the task force, municipalities also meet with the task force for a weekly exchange.

Two thirds of the residents of the Graubünden village of Brienz/Brinzauls would prefer to continue living in the municipality of Albula/Alvra if their village had to be relocated. After the queen stage from Arosa to Davos, Nino Schurter and Lars Forster lead with almost ten minutes, Annika Langvad and Haley Batten even more than 32 minutes ahead of their direct pursuers.

Construction has begun for the rehabilitation of the drainage system in the Maiensässe area around Propissi. More than two and a half kilometers of new drainage channels will be built by late autumn. At the construction site, we met construction manager Ivo Thaler.

The world-renowned architect Norman Foster does not expect any drastic changes in the office workplace following the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the InnHub La Punt innovation campus, which Foster is currently working on, has become even more important as a result of the pandemic.

Samedan, 3 July 2020. The Engadin Skimarathon is developing a protection plan for the races of Engadin Marathon Week next winter. The aim is to ensure that Engadin Marathon Week 2021 can take place in a safe and atmospheric setting.

Klinik Gut and Spital Oberengadin are heading into the future together. From summer 2022, all patients with complaints or injuries to the musculoskeletal system will be treated in a new, joint center at Oberengadin Hospital. In St. Moritz, a joint permanence is being created for emergencies and consultations, but without an operating room and a ward.

As a result, parts of the landslide high above the village of Brienz/Brinzauls move more strongly.
