In order to make your stay as varied as possible even without the races, the Engadin has put together 42 tips for you. They are spread over the 42 kilometers of the Engadin Ski Marathon.

The Engadin Ski Marathon 2020 cannot take place. Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the health authorities of the Canton of Grisons have prohibited the holding of major events of supra-regional significance in Südbünden until March 8. As a result, the Engadin Ski Marathon, the Engadin Women's Run, the Engadin Night Run and the St. Moritz Supersprint cannot take place this year. The Engadin Ski Marathon is the second-largest cross-country skiing event in the world.

The assembly of the newest JUFA hotel has begun in Savognin. It sets new standards in terms of regionality and sustainability. Wild animals suffer particularly from human disturbances in winter. They are designed to move only minimally and therefore consume very little energy. The JUNKERS F 13 has completed its anniversary tour through European countries. A hundred years after the first flight, a newly built JUNKERS F 13 attended events in Switzerland, Germany, France and Great Britain and delighted tens of thousands of visitors. With the tour, Junkers Flugzeugwerke Dübendorf commemorated the historical significance of the JUNKERS F 13 and its inventor Prof. Hugo Junkers.

The Upper Engadin is getting a health festival. The Cologne-based Dieter Morszeck Foundation is helping victims of severe weather in the Bahamas. Since last Thursday, she has been flying rescue missions from Florida with three of her aircraft for injured and ill victims of Hurricane Dorian and bringing medical personnel, drinking water and food to the northern islands. With the final arrival in Davos, the first “Swiss Epic” stage race for mountain bikers in Grisons ended on Saturday. Swiss Casey South and Noah Blöchlinger won the third stage of the Swiss Epic in Grisons and are now second overall.
