What Apple demonstrated successfully with its iPhone and iPad shall prevail in banking, too: "Che Banca¨ (What a bank!), a new concept by Italian Mediobanca Group, goes new ways in customer contact and business with private clients and families. The bank's website and its outlets show new, purely customer focused approaches.

 

The website www.chebanca.it looks more like an Apple Store than a financial institute and the concept of the outlets goes far beyond modern furniture design. The 'classic' tellers with armored glass are gone; bankers meet their customers in open spaces; they discuss in informal lounges or stand together at computer terminals.

 

Similar to modern airlines' self check-in machines Che Banca! offers computer terminals for self service banking in its outlets rather than long queues in front of armored tellers. The "bank for everyone" also offers relax zones as well as playing areas for the clients' children.
